February sparkles with the Winter Dew Tour a four-day championship event hosted by Snowbasin, a Sun Valley Resort, in Ogden, Utah. This free event highlights world-champion extreme winter action sports athletes vying for the coveted Dew cup in snowboarding and freeski slopestyle and superpipe events, a full-blown festival, and a top-billing music concert.
If you’re more a participant than a spectator, May brings the Ogden Marathon, where both top and average athletes race a beautiful course, with Boston Qualifier credentials. August offers another chance to rub elbows with top-tier athletes, when an international field of elite off-road triathletes converges in Ogden for the Xterra US National Championships. August also invites elite archers from over 30 countries for Ogden’s hosting of the Archery World Cup.

The Golden Spike is one of those places that can do anything, playing host to everything from antique expos, food festivals and horse shows to wrestling and the largest county fair in Utah, the Weber County Fair.
