Welcome to a Winter Paradise!
Experience the "Greatest Snow on Earth®" without a long journey. In Ogden, three world-class ski resorts await, offering over 11,600 skiable acres and a snowfall exceeding 500 inches.
In 2023, the Ogden area was honored by topping the charts on Ski Magazine having Powder Mountain and Snowbasin rank #1 and #2 in the Top 30 Ski Resorts in the West respectively!
Nordic Valley is considered the best place to learn to ski in the west. You will get the feel of a home town ski resort with the best snow on earth. Not to mention some of the best night skiing ever, with great lighting and energy from skiers and boarders. Nordic Valley is also a jumping-off point for the rest of the Ogden Valley area.
Powder Mountain, also known as the largest resort in the United States, has more skiable acreage than one trip will allow you to explore. All the space comes with shorter lift lines, expansive and varied terrain and views for days. Be sure to book your ticket in advance to ensure you get a spot on this iconic mountain, and explore their equally epic night skiing options.
Of course, Ogden is home to Snowbasin Resort’s opulent lodges and world-renowned mountains — the crown jewel venue for the downhill, combined and Super-G events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. With one of the largest parking lots of any resort in Utah and a drive along a scenic byway, getting there is easy and fun.
All three resorts welcome skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. It’s easy to hit the slopes at your convenience, with minimum driving and parking hassles. Public transportation is available to Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain from downtown Ogden.
