Ogden River Parkway
Ogden River Parkway Trail is a 17 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Ogden, Utah that features a lake and is good for all skill levels.
The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
More Details
The Parkway is paved, which is worth knowing if you're visiting in spring. While dirt trails in the Wasatch are still muddy through April and into May, this one stays dry and accessible through shoulder season.
Dogs are welcome on leash. If you're road tripping with a pet, this is a solid option: a real multi-mile walk, not just a rest stop.
No fee, no parking pass, no reservation required.
The full trail is 17 miles out and back, but most people do a section. The stretch from Lorin Farr Park to the Ogden Botanical Gardens is about two miles one way and covers the most scenic part of the route. That's a good anchor. Add distance in either direction based on how much time you have.
