Gather your family and gather your friends because this year the Fourth of July weekend is bringing great excitement to the Ogden area.

It stands to reason that a place with the tagline, “Notoriously Independent” is bound to go big in its celebration of Independence Day. Since even the most energetic families couldn’t possibly fit it all in, we’ve assembled the following overview of all the festivals, parades, delectable bites, music and more across the entire community. Ogden, Huntsville and Riverdale will be featuring superb celebrations for all ages.  Take a look at the schedules below and plan your Fourth of July weekend now! North Ogden Cherry Days

  • 6:00am - 4:00pm Road Closed at 550 E between 2750 N and 2650 N.
  • 6:30am - 7:00am  Sunrise Patriotic Ceremony North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E)

  • 7:00am 5K Patriotic Run & 1-Mile Fun Run: Prizes for most patriotic costumes
  • 9:45am-10:15am Independence Day Flag Ceremony including F-16 flyover, flagmen on horses, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, and parade.
  • 11:00am-2:00pm 42-foot waterslide, children’s game booths open, Huntsville Decathlon
  • 2:30pm Patriotic program and essay winners in LDS Cultural Hall
  • 8:00pm Hypnotist and miscellaneous entertainment
