7 Can't Miss Summer Events

7 Can't Miss Summer Events

Summer in and around Ogden, Utah is filled with music and dancing, free outdoor movies, mountain biking, rip-roaring rodeos and, of course, adventure!

Posted: 04/14/2022

It’s a great time to enjoy an epic weekend getaway set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Wasatch Mountain Range. Between now and the end of September, here are the top 7 summer event's that you can't miss in Ogden! Check out our entire events calendar HERE!

2022 can’t miss events:

1. Ogden Music Festival

June 3 - June 5

There is plenty of melodic flavors to go around for all to enjoy during the Ogden Music Festival. Your spirits will rise as you listen to soothing bluegrass, dance to the hot licks of the fiddle and sway to an acoustic guitar. The festival is set in Utah’s oldest settlement, Fort Buenaventura. To see the full event schedule and to purchase tickets go to www.ofoam.org

2. Ogden Twilight Concert Series

Two or three times a month from June to September music will be heard at the Ogden Amphitheater. Ogden Twilight brings cutting edge artists to the heart of downtown, each show features a band for a nominal price, and tickets double as a UTA Front Runner ticket. Plan a long weekend filled with music, hiking trails, farmers market, local dining and more music! Tickets can be purchased online at www.ogdentwilight.com

3. Blues, Brews & BBQs Summer Concert Series

Head up to Snowbasin Resort to enjoy concerts every Sunday all summer long! Enjoy Blues, Brews, & BBQ this summer with award winning BBQ, family friendly activities, a scenic hike, and free entertainment for all ages! Music will go from 12:30-5:30 p.m.

4. Ogden Pioneer Days

July 20 - July 25

Utah’s official state holiday, Ogden Pioneer Days is one of Utah’s largest celebrations with more than 30,000 people collectively in attendance. There are five nights of PRCA rodeo entertainment at the Pioneer Stadium; a Lindquist family pops concert and fireworks at Weber State University and more.

5. Farmer's Market Ogden

Every Saturday from May 28 - September 10

The Ogden Farmers Market extends the length of Historic 25th Street from Wall to Washington Blvd. every Saturday morning from late May through late September. In addition to farm-fresh produce, locally roasted coffee and baked goods, the market offers a myriad of locally produced arts and crafts, live local musicians, and activities for kids.

6. Utah Spartan Trifecta Event Weekend

July 9 - 10

Mount Ogden is no stranger to elite athletics: this course was home to Winter Olympic events in 2002. At a 3,000 foot vertical climb to the peak, this course is one of our toughest yet. The Spartan trek to the summit will be challenging, but that just makes the breathtaking views from the top so much more worth it. Join the Brews Blues and BBQ summer concert after the race on Sunday or take a Gondola ride to enjoy the views when not on the course.

7. Harvest Moon Celebration

The Harvest Moon Celebration is one of Northern Utah’s largest outdoor festivals. Harvest Moon is an end-of-summer party with over 25 family-friendly activates, live music, farmers market, vendors, a contest for all ages, and festive food and beverages.
