What is Wild4Ogden?
Ogden has joined together with a group of similar mountain towns to support responsible tourism in wild places.
Leading outdoor communities are coming together to collectively stoke the responsible tourism conversation and build awareness around opportunities to directly give back to the wild places in these iconic mountain towns. Whether you’re a visitor or resident frequenting your favorite local adventure spots, we encourage you to take pause and consider who supports and cares for these wild places day-to-day. Each founding community is the home of dozens, if not hundreds, of nonprofits, conservation groups, and land managers who maintain and preserve these wild places so they can be enjoyed on your next visit, next year, and in the next decade and beyond.
Wild 4 Ogden proactively shares outdoor principles and responsible tourism tips while creating a direct channel to give back locally through online donation. Each donation is sent directly to the Weber Sustainability Fund.
To help keep Ogden wild, first, enjoy Ogden’s wild places — whether it’s hiking or mountain biking our hundreds of miles of trails, kayaking or paddle boarding on one of our reservoirs, or rock climbing our scenic walls. Second, it's simply make a donation — we recommend a dollar for every mile or every hour you spent in our wild places — and know that you are helping to protect the outdoor resources you just played in so others can continue to enjoy them in the future.
