Evening Adventures in Ogden

One of the best ways to experience Ogden is to visit our Historic 25th Street and spend an evening strolling through its streets. This will be your guide to visiting our local restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Your time in the city will then move to the Ogden Valley, where you will get a moment in nature and a view of the night sky. We also recommend you reserve a spot at the Huntsville Astronomic and Lunar Observatory, as it will enhance your evening experience. Be advised that this guide can be affected by the season and weather. However, bring your friends and family and enjoy an evening in Ogden.

5:00 p.m.

Your first stop is our Historic 25th Street, so take your time to browse around the local shops throughout the street. Beehive Naturals, Lavender Vinyl, and Reborn Vintage are some of the most popular shops you should visit. If you’re looking for some new hygiene products, Beehive Naturals has an amazing variety of handcrafted soaps and lotions. However, there are many more businesses along our historical street that can be visited. Most of these shops close around 6:00 p.m., which gives you time to stop by and shop before dinner.

6:00 p.m.

Now that it is time to enjoy a delicious meal, we recommend you have dinner at Roosters Brewing, Warrens Craft Burger, or Table Twenty Five. There are more restaurants along the street, but we encourage you to give Roosters Brewing a try. This restaurant has been open since 1995 and continues to serve its community with handcrafted beer and fresh food. Roosters Brewing is one of the best restaurants to eat, vibe, and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere.

7:00 p.m.

Continue exploring our Historic 25th Street after dinner. Now is the time to have some fun and participate in a friendly activity. Along the street are Social Axe and Color Me Mine. Though reservations are recommended, they are some of the best places to have fun with your partner, friends, or family. Especially Color Me Mine, as it has been a trendy gathering location. The ceramics sold at Color Me Mine are at a reasonable price, making this activity enjoyable and affordable.

8:00 p.m.

After spending some time shopping, eating, and exploring, it’s time to take a drive through the Ogden Canyon. Throughout the drive, you will see the mountain scenery, the Ogden River, and Pineview Reservoir. Though the drive year-round can vary due to different seasons, keep an eye out for any precautions, wildlife, and weather. While driving, go through the valley and into Liberty to get to North Fork Park.

9:00 p.m.

North Fork Park is a recognized dark-sky destination in Utah. The limited light pollution provides a chance to view the Milky Way and constellations. It is not guaranteed to see the Milky Way, as visibility depends on the season, weather, and moon phase. However, stargazing at the park still provides a chance to get a good view of the stars and also listen to the wildlife around.

10:00 p.m.

Now is the time to embrace the beautiful night sky and recap your evening here in Ogden. Take a moment to reflect and talk about your favorite part of your evening or a new memory you created. If a reservation was made at the Huntsville Astronomic and Lunar Observatory, they will walk you through their telescope-guided views of the moon, planets, star clusters, and other night-sky objects. Wrapping up your evening with a night under the stars, or a chance to see what is in our galaxy.
