Nordic Valley has probably turned out more Utah skiers and snowboarders than any other resort. For generations, the quaint, two-lift hill functioned as virtually everyone’s “first time” and introduction to snowsports. Nordic Valley saw exciting updates this year with continued infrastructure improvements, enhanced snowmaking, and progress toward long-term plans that support a more accessible, year-round mountain experience for visitors to Ogden Valley.

Its gentle terrain, affordability, instructors, and willingness to accommodate local schools, youth groups, churches and Scout troops has ensured access to winter recreation for northern Utah residents and visitors for decades.

In recent years, Nordic Valley expanded its operations with the new high-speed, six-pack “Express” lift, accessing significantly more challenging terrain and nearly doubling the size of the resort boundary.
