Ogden Restaurant Week Returns April 10-19th

Ogden, Utah (March 24, 2015)- Ogden Restaurant Week will celebrate its third year of cuisine excellence by offering ten days of mouth-watering dining at some of downtown Ogden’s finest restaurants.

April 10-19th, foodies will be able to eat their hearts out at any of the nineteen participating independently owned, local restaurants. Diners can indulge in a fixed two-course lunch for $8 or a three-course dinner for $15.

“These prices are typically seen in the realm of national chains and franchises located on ‘restaurant row’ or suburban strip malls. Our goal is to let people know that locally grown and prepared food is available in locally owned and operated restaurants with unique history, architecture and décor,” said Steve Ballard, owner of Sonora Grill and Thai Curry Kitchen.

Each restaurant will offer a special Restaurant Week menu with several different choices of entrees, appetizers and desserts, giving epicures and casual diners alike, the chance to explore scrumptious eats at discounted prices. Participating restaurants will also offer regular menu items at regular prices. Tickets and passes aren’t necessary for this week of tasty eats; show up at any participating location or call ahead to make a reservation to ensure your chance to explore a new culinary experience.

For those wanting to take the train to Ogden, most of the participating restaurants are a short walk from the FrontRunner platform at the UTA Intermodal Hub.“It’s a fabulous time to try a new place, return to an old favorite, or just find an excuse to gather with friends,” said Roosters Brewing Company and Union Grill owner, Kym Buttschardt. “Simplify your grocery list and leave the mid-April meal planning to Ogden’s local chefs during Ogden Restaurant Week.”

Ogden Restaurant Week is also running various contests on social media outlets that include gift cards from participating restaurants to those who share savory finds to Facebook, tagging Ogden Restaurant Week, or share on Instagram using @OgdenRestaurantWeek and #OgdenRestaurantWeek. Participating restaurants include: Bangkok Garden, Bistro 258, Brixton's , Harley & Bucks, Hearth on 25th, Lucky Slice , MacCool’s Public House, Prairie Schooner, Rooster’s Brewing Company, Rovali’s Italian Ristorante', Slackwater Pizzeria, Sonora Grill, Scrud’s Gourmet Burgers, Tona Sushi, Tokyo Station, Thai Curry Kitchen, Union Grill, Warren's Craft Burger and the Lighthouse Lounge.
