A nationally recognized scholar, Fulbright scholar, and award-winning museum leader, Curtis explores Latinx identity through an African American lens and has led major Smithsonian initiatives focused on race, history, and women’s stories. Her work examines culture, identity, and representation, helping audiences better understand the connections that shape American history and contemporary life.
