Our community is working through Utah’s multi-phased process of re-opening following this Spring’s global outbreak of COVID-19. Currently, we have been in the “Yellow” phase of the State’s plan since May 16.
Most of our independent and locally owned businesses, attractions, restaurants, bars, and facilities are open with some minor tweaks to their normal operations that have been made in accordance with CDC recommendations and State Health Department guidelines.
You know the drill…social distancing, face mask requirements in some places, plenty of hand washing/sanitizing, etc.
All of our amazing natural assets are in full swing. Our open spaces are as open as ever. Thanks to an abundant winter/ski season, waterfalls are flowing and wildflowers are blooming. Hundreds of miles of trails are in great shape, as are our rivers and lakes. While traditional summer operations at our resorts have been temporarily suspended, access to their trails remains unimpeded.
Whether you’re a local looking for “staycation” ideas, or a visitor just discovering our area, here are our recommendations for a great experience that support our vital, small businesses.
Please know that our community’s welcoming nature has remained fully intact and we are prepared to ensure you have the safest, cleanest, most memorable visit possible.
