New Event to Premiere at The Junction
May 12th – Ogden, Utah. New Urban Adventure Festival coming to The Junction May 12th!
“Where adventure meets downtown” the Urban Adventure Festival will feature local vendors, free activities, community-based organizations, live music and fun for all ages! Taking place along Kiesel Avenue from 23rd to 24th streets, participants are encouraged to visit local businesses residing in The Junction that will be open and contributing to the atmosphere. Come by, explore, shop and play!
We are excited to announce a lineup of local talent for live music at Urban Adventure Festival. Caleb and the Canvas then Giants in the Oak Tree will be opening for our headliner, The Hollering Pines!
In addition to standing adventures featured at The Junction such as: Flowrider, iRock, Fat Cats, iFly, The Megaplex, local eateries and artisan shops, the Urban Adventure Festival will welcome new adventures. Join Dartside for an outdoor activity, The Front Climbing Gym for knot tying trainings and a free hang bar, 801 Rocks to try out rock painting, attend afternoon and evening yoga classes held by And She's Dope Too, head over to the Treehouse Museum for kid’s activities and free entry for mothers, get a henna tattoo or face painting from local artists housed at the Local Artisan Collective and look out for Weber State Outdoor Recreation, Gold’s Gym and many other vendors!
Ogden Downtown Alliance (ODA) currently produces and manages events such as: Farmers Market Ogden, Harvest Moon Celebration, the Historic 25th Street Car Show, Witchstock and the Fall Market. Last year, ODA won two Indie Ogden Awards: Harvest Moon won Best Event of 2017 and Farmers Market Ogden won Best Place for Family Fun. More recently, ODA was awarded Best of State for Community Development. Now they’re adding a new event with the Urban Adventure Festival!
ODA believes Urban Adventure Festival is a unique addition to the event lineup that will draw in new audiences, and provide an opportunity for vendors, community organizations and artists to mingle with community members. Moreover, ODA wants to highlight The Junction businesses while broadening local understanding of Utah’s recreational opportunities.
