Restaurant Week originated in New York City in 1992. Since then it has spread to thousands of cities across the United States.
Ogden first brought Restaurant Week to the City in 2013 to highlight the numerous and diverse dining options in the city. Locals and visitors alike were able to have the opportunity to experience Ogden’s local and independent restaurants sublime dining without breaking the bank.
Following the pandemic, Visit Ogden recognized an opportunity to expand the program and support local restaurants for an entire month. Rather than offering special menu items, participants in Ogden Eats can choose what they'll offer to the public, allowing for more flexibility and even more delicious menu options.
