Stop 1: Ogden Amphitheater
A live stream of the Trains Meeting in Promontory Point will be shown at the Ogden Amphitheater at 11:00 am- 1:00 pm, so catch all the action in Downtown Ogden if you're not going up to the Golden Spike Site.
Stop 2: Farr Better Ice Cream
Farr Better Ice Cream has been around for nearly 100 years so they're just as important to Ogden's History as our favorite Ice Cream shop to head to on a hot day. It's only a 10 minute walk from 25th Street and with it's Vintage Ice Cream parlor feel it's the perfect place to take a break and get a treat!
Stop 3: Historic 25th Street
The Heritage Festival continues with the Jazz Fest on 25th street! Listen to some soul music that identifies so closely with our Ogden Community and grab a quick bite to eat at one of our many outdoor food vendors or if you're in the mood to sit down 25th Street offers several tasty restaurants to try!
Stop 4: Union Grill
Getting hungry? Want to learn more about the Transcontinental Railroad? Stop by Union Grill, not only do show case many historical aspects of Ogden but from 7:00-9:00 pm on May 10th Derek Kreck will be speaking about his book, "Hell on Wheels"! Entrance is free, guests can buy food and beverages (cash bar) there!
Stop 5: Peery's Egyptian Theater
If you're not feeling too hungry Ogden's beautiful Egyptian Theater will be showing "Golden Mountain" this show has sold out in Salt Lake City so it's sure to sell out in Ogden, get your tickets at www.goldmountainthemusical.com! Tickets range from $10-15
