Saturday, February 15th, 11am – 4pm
Ogden, UT (January 20, 2019): This Valentine’s Day weekend, you are cordially invited to attend A Monarch Wedding, presented by Monarch Venues as a premier showcase for the modern bride and groom. This extravagant event will feature runway fashion shows, champagne toasts, luxury raffles, mock wedding day staging and more. The Monarch’s resident restaurant, WB’s Eatery will offer a coinciding VIP brunch with special items exclusive to their catering and event menu. More than 30 wedding purveyors will be available for consultation in The Royal Room, offering services that include letterpress stationary, floral design, salon styling and much more.
A Monarch Wedding is an introductory showcase for Monarch Venues, Ogden’s newest event company and destination venue for weddings, community events, corporate meetings and celebratory occasions. The showcase is an exciting opportunity for the community to see the scope of The Monarch’s multi-faceted building and fully envision their event in the space. It’s also Ogden’s first wedding showcase in over five years, giving locals the rare opportunity to plan their event somewhere close to home.
“We are thrilled that for the first time in a long time, Monarch Venues can provide a spectacular home for a premier wedding show right here in Ogden, rather than having our couples and vendors feel like they have to drive to big wedding shows in Salt Lake.” says Neal Bergstrom, Monarch Venues Director. Bergstrom, along with the Monarch Venues’ sales and operations team, will be on site and available for consultation and bookings with interested couples, giving this curated event a personal feel.
While the showcase caters to brides and grooms, those planning other celebratory events are encouraged to attend. All available indoor venues including The Royal Room, Atrium and Gist will be activated, styled and staged as inspiration for your special day. In addition to The Monarch Venues, The Monarch building is home to 40+ artist and maker studios, WBs Eatery: Wine Café and Coffeehouse, Art Box boutique, and this spring, will welcome Ogden’s contemporary arts non-profit, O1ARTS. The historic 1920s parking garage was developed by Fischer Regan Enterprises and opened as “The Monarch” in November 2019, and is now a gathering space for Ogden’s creative community and premier event venue for Northern Utah.
