Creatures to Takeover Historic 25th Street and Ogden Amphitheater for 2018 Witchstock Festival

Calling all Witches, Zombies and Monsters

October 27th – Ogden, Utah. Ogden's Annual Witchstock Festival is a seasonal favorite that brings together witches, zombies and monsters for a lively night of celebratory activities at the Ogden Amphitheater. Witchstock features three events; Witches Tea, Zombie Crawl and Monster Bash, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

Witches Tea is hosted at the Ogden Amphitheater by the Junior League of Ogden's Jr. Junior League girls ages 10 to 16 to raise money for their yearly projects and activities. This year, Witches Tea will have live entertainment by Hana Studio, a catered dinner by Union Grill and three contests; Best Cackle, Best Witches Hat and Best Overall Dressed Witch. Every year Witches Tea sells out quickly and this year they sold out 3 weeks in advance with 300 tickets sold!

Following Witches Tea at 6 pm, Amphitheater gates open to the public for vendors, food, roaming performances, local art and more. Everyone is welcome to gather for the Monster Bash dance party at 8 pm with beer and wine available to purchase and live music by DJ Johnny B.

Zombie Crawl starts at 6 pm with over 1,000 zombies of all ages meeting in front of the Amphitheater wearing their most gruesome, creative costumes to limp down Historic 25th Street in search of brains.

“Witches Tea is a wonderful fundraiser that our girls take pride in hosting every year” says Clairesse Miljour, Chair Elect of the Jr. Junior League program, “they have been preparing handmade party favors for each guest and are even taking etiquette training on how to service tables properly by Sonora Grill. We have over thirty Jr. Junior League girls volunteering their Saturdays along with teenagers from the Upward Bound Program.”

“It is incredible how many people get together for Zombie Crawl and it’s funny watching them limp around the street” says Tess Piper, Manager of Zucca Trattoria Restaurant on Historic 25th Street, “we actually have people make reservations weeks in advance for our window seats so that they can watch the zombies go by while they dine.”
